The School of Architecture and Design (SoAD) welcomed more than 35 alumni back to campus for a special reception held in conjunction with the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Conference on Architecture. The event provided a vibrant opportunity for graduates to reconnect with faculty, engage with current students, and witness the latest evolution of the SoAD.
The evening began with an update from Sedef Doganer, Dean of Wentworth Institute of Technology's School of Architecture and Design, who shared recent accomplishments and the forward-looking vision for the school.
A highlight of the reception was a comprehensive tour of the SoAD's state-of-the-art facilities. Alumni explored the dynamic studio spaces and visited school facilities including the extensive Fabrication Shops, Digital Modeling Lab, and Robotics Lab. The tour offered a firsthand look at the cutting-edge tools and technologies available to today's students.
The event fostered a lively atmosphere of connection, allowing established professionals to share experiences with current students and reconnect with former classmates and faculty.
