Governor General Mary Simon to present the 2025 Governor General’s History Awards at Rideau Hall

OTTAWA, Ontario-Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, will present the Governor General's History Awards to the 2025 recipients during a ceremony at Rideau Hall.

About the Governor General's History Awards
Administered by Canada's National History Society, the Governor General's History Awards are Canada's top honours in the field of history and heritage, presented to Canadians who have made outstanding contributions in teaching, museums, scholarly research, community programming and popular media.

Time: 11:00 a.m.
Location: Rideau Hall Ballroom
