Independence Blue Cross expands educational benefits through new alliance with Alvernia University

University Partnership Deferral Program provides associates with additional pathways to earn undergraduate and graduate degrees

A new relationship between Independence Blue Cross (IBX) and Alvernia University (Alvernia) is expanding opportunities for associate learning and professional growth. Through the IBX University Partnership Deferral Program, eligible associates can pursue undergraduate and graduate degree programs at Alvernia while receiving direct tuition support from IBX.

The University Partnership Deferral Program allows IBX to provide direct payment to participating institutions toward the completion of a designated undergraduate or graduate degree. The annual allowance of $5,250 helps associates advance their education while minimizing out-of-pocket costs.

An accredited institution and member of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, Alvernia University's business programs are recognized by the Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs.
