Two northbound lanes of the 1300 block of Yanceyville Street, from the East Wendover Avenue on-ramp to the West Wendover Avenue on-ramp are closed due to a 12-inch water main break. Approximately three customers are without water service.
City crews will be on-site until repairs are completed, the lanes reopened, and service is restored, which is expected by midnight, Thursday, November 13. Signs and traffic cones are in place, and motorists are urged to use alternate routes to avoid the area. See the map below for the location.
If you notice discoloration or cloudy water coming from your tap after the repairs, run cold water for a few minutes through a faucet without an aerator, such as an outside spigot or bathtub, until clear.
