ORLANDO, Fla. - Dec. 15, 2025 - Jonathan M. Perry, co-managing shareholder of the Orlando office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A., has been named board of directors chair for ELEVATE Orlando, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building long-term, life-changing relationships with urban youth, equipping them to thrive and contribute to their community.
ELEVATE Orlando partners with public schools to provide long-term mentoring and character education to students in under-resourced communities. The organization's mission is to help students graduate high school, pursue post-secondary education or employment, and become responsible, productive members of society. Through its signature program, teachers and mentors build strong, lasting relationships with students, guiding them through academic, emotional, and social challenges. ELEVATE Orlando offers holistic year-round programming that includes in-class instruction, after-school mentoring, and summer opportunities designed to ensure consistent support throughout the students' educational journeys.
Perry, a member of the firm's Real Estate Practice, focuses on commercial real estate law, representing a wide range of clients including real estate developers, institutional and private lenders, investment firms, and business entrepreneurs. His experience spans all phases of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, development, and financing, with a particular emphasis on transit-oriented and mixed-use developments, as well as portfolio acquisitions and financing.
In his new role as chair, Perry will provide strategic oversight to the organization's board, helping to advance its mission and extend its reach to more students. His appointment highlights his ongoing dedication to fostering educational opportunities and positive outcomes for young people in Central Florida.
