Arts in Irvine invites the public to the annual OC Archives Bazaar: Beyond the Archive, a one-day exploration of Southern California's vibrant cultural heritage. This free event, held Saturday, March 14, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., at the Great Park, offers a unique opportunity to experience history as a living, breathing narrative.
Step into a world where memory, music, and material culture intersect. OC Archives Bazaar: Beyond the Archive highlights the voices, sounds, and stories that have shaped the region through immersive exhibitions, thought-provoking presentations, and hands-on activities for all ages. From historical artifacts to contemporary interpretations, attendees can engage directly with the rich tapestry of Orange County's past, uncovering hidden narratives and celebrating the communities that brought them to life.
Presented by OC Archives in Action in collaboration with CSUF Pollak Library, UCI Libraries, and the Great Park Gallery, this educational experience invites guests to explore the connections between history, creativity, and community.
The OC Archives Bazaar: Beyond the Archive will take place in Hangar 244, the Great Park Gallery, and the Great Park Studio. The event and parking are free. For more information, visit artsinirvine.org/greatpark(link is external) or call 949-724-6880.
Great Park Gallery hours are noon-4 p.m. Thursday-Friday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. The Great Park Gallery is located at 8000 Great Park Blvd.
