LOUISVILLE, Ky. (November 6, 2026) - Derby City Gaming's ("DCG") Donation Station is adding to its impact in the Louisville community, cent by cent. Today, DCG presented a $31,124.19 donation to Down Syndrome of Louisville ("DSL") through the program.
The Donation Station allows guests to donate the remaining balance on their ticket vouchers to support local nonprofit organizations. The more than $31,000 raised for DSL will help sustain its comprehensive lifelong programs for individuals with Down syndrome and their families across a 32-county region. Funding will support specialized instruction, developmental services, family resources and opportunities for social engagement, employment readiness and personal growth.
"DSL does incredible work to create opportunities, build connections and support individuals throughout our community," said Bridget Harmon, General Manager of DCG. "We're proud to see the Donation Station add up to this kind of impact and to support an organization that makes a meaningful difference in Louisville."
The contribution reflects Derby City Gaming's parent company, Churchill Downs Incorporated's ("CDI"), commitment to the Louisville community. CDI works to help make Louisville the best place to live, work and build a future by investing in local neighborhoods, expanding opportunity and strengthening Kentucky's signature industry.
"We are grateful to Derby City Gaming for their partnership and for creating opportunities for their guests to give back," said Taylor Ingram, DSL Executive Director. "What makes this gift especially meaningful is that it represents so many individuals choosing to make a difference, and together their generosity helps strengthen the support available to individuals with Down syndrome and their families across our region."
Representatives from DCG, CDI and DSL gathered at Down Syndrome of Louisville for a ceremonial check presentation celebrating the contribution and the opportunities it will help provide for individuals with Down syndrome and their families.
