Lakewood's beloved Cider Days festival returns to Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park on Oct. 3-4, marking its 50th celebration with a refreshed look and brand image that highlights the festival's blend of food, family fun and farm history. Tickets go on sale Aug. 13, and early purchase is strongly encouraged due to high demand and expected sellouts for peak hours.
This long-standing community tradition celebrates Colorado's agricultural roots and the region's apple-growing heritage. Guests of all ages can enjoy two full days of hands-on activities, artisan vendors, live entertainment and classic fall fun.
New and ongoing activities
This milestone year introduces a full-scale apple-launching trebuchet, adding a new burst of excitement to the festival's mix of historic demonstrations and modern attractions. Annual favorites return, including antique cider pressing, blacksmithing demos, tractor pulls and kid-friendly activities across the festival grounds.
To commemorate the 50th celebration, festivalgoers can also purchase a limited edition Cider Days mug, available in limited quantities throughout the weekend event.
Visitors can explore historic structures, enjoy continuous live music, browse local artisans and sample seasonal food and ciders from regional producers. Families will also find wagon rides, a miniature train, trick pigs and interactive exhibits that bring Colorado's agricultural story to life.

Cider Days is held at Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park, 801 S. Yarrow St. Event details, ticket information and schedule updates are available at LakewoodCO.gov/CiderDays. Tickets go on sale Aug. 13; purchase early to secure your preferred time and avoid day-of-event sellouts.
On-site parking is limited. Festivalgoers are encouraged to use public transit, rideshares or the complimentary bike valet service.
